  • In keeping up with our tradition, we spent the day with the children of our comrades who are deceased, those who are in detention, those who were forcefully disappeared and those who have been injured through torture.
We hosted 100 children and their parents at One Love Beach Busabala for a Christmas and end of year party.
We shared a meal with them, hosted them to different games and gave them some financial and logistical support to enable them go through the festive season.
Although we can never replace the love their parents used to give them before the state murdered, disappeared, detained or tortured them, we believe that the little we can do we should always do to bring a smile on their faces. They're grateful for your prayers and support throughout the years. I encourage all of us to continue supporting these families, well aware that any of us could have been one of them.
As we do all this, we must continue our push for justice and accountability for the crimes that have resulted into this state of affairs!
